About the Museum

Welcome to our website which documents the story of the Chinese community in Queensland from the mid 1800s. Starting with the Holy Triad Temple in Albion it will eventually broaden to include other temples throughout Queensland. Eventually it will tell the story of Chinese gold mining in Queensland; include an explanation of Chinese belief and religious temple ceremony; and contain Chinese community oral story telling and imagery.
